The Gravago-Bardi community of New York asks for your help in the restoration of our parish church, la Chiesa di S. Michele, more commonly known as la Chiesa di Monastero.

 

Many of us, our parents or grandparents, emigrated from the Gravago-Bardi, Parma area. La Chiesa di Monastero, situated in Val Noveglia and only ten kilometers from Bardi, was where we celebrated our Baptisms, First Communions, Confirmations and weddings. Although we are far away, it holds a special place in our hearts and welcomes us back when we return to visit family and friends. After serving the spiritual needs of the community since 650 AD, it is in need of our support.
